Please note that these research outputs are NOT official statistics on the population. Rather they are outputs from continued research into a different methodology to that currently used in the production of population statistics. It is important that the information and research published as part of the publication is read alongside the outputs to aid interpretation and avoid misunderstanding. This release contains population estimates produced from a Statistical Population Dataset that is created from using multiple administrative datasets. This is the second release in a series of administrative data research outputs the first which was published in October 2015.
