This is a beta version to accompany a public consultation into the index’s development: its content, methods for combining and aggregating variables, and the results presented.

These data are the provisional results of the Health Index for upper-tier local authorities in England, 2015 to 2018, to illustrate the type of analysis the Health Index can enable.
