Data

• Growing Up in England (GUiE): personal characteristics

  Information on the population sizes of children, broken down by a range of personal characteristics and educational attainment.

• Growing Up in England (GUiE): general breakdowns

  Educational attainment by geographic region. Geographical information was correct at the time of the 2011 Census.

• Growing Up in England (GUiE): Individualised Learner Record (ILR)

  ILR data records attainment of children in further education and work-based learning in England. The dataset provides information on the types of provision and counts of how many are in the main categories.

• Growing Up in England (GUiE): household characteristics and educational attainment

  Educational attainment of children by household composition. Analysis was carried out on household-level characteristics.

• Growing Up in England (GUiE): vulnerable groups and educational attainment

  Information on absences, exclusions, Special Educational Needs, Free School Meals, disability, looked after status and primary need.
