Figures in Sheet 5 of the 2020 edition of this dataset were incorrect for the number of deaths registered in 2020 that occurred in a previous year. This has been corrected in the 2021 edition. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Time taken to register deaths by cause of death, age, sex, certification type and area of usual residence. Includes analysis on infant deaths. England and Wales.
