Set ddata Estimates of overseas residents’ visits and spending

There are errors affecting the way we assign destination airport information for air passengers in ‘Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) to Quarter 2 (Apr to June) 2025 edition’, ‘Updated Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) to Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) 2024 edition’ and ‘Quarter 3 (July to Sept) and Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) 2024 edition’ of the dataset Estimates of overseas residents’ visits and spending. We plan to correct this error in early October 2026. Please contact travel.and.tourism@ons.gov.uk for more information.

About this Dataset

Quarterly estimates of overseas residents’ visits and spending. Also includes data on nights, purpose, region of UK visited and mode of travel. Breakdowns by nationality and area of residence are covered. The Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) versions of this dataset up to 2023 are on a different webpage under the name "Overseas travel and tourism, quarterly".
