At the time of publication, Table 1a did not include prevalence estimates on threats by a partner or family member in the last year. These have now been included.

Following our decision to include the new domestic abuse questions permanently on the Crime Survey for England and Wales, and the Office for Statistics Regulation’s compliance review, estimates presented in these tables are the accredited official statistics on domestic abuse for the year ending March 2024. When making comparisons with future years, these tables should be used.
