We have identified and corrected a processing error in International Trade in Services survey data that fed into previously published versions of this dataset. The corrected data has been incorporated alongside scheduled revisions to other Trade in Services inputs. In combination, these changes affect seasonally adjusted total Trade in Services estimates by less than 1% in all quarters of 2025. The error on its own had no impact on GDP growth rates to one decimal place.
The cause of the error was an incorrect file input to the processing system; we have now reviewed the data flow to improve this part of the processing and have implemented additional checks.
