We have corrected an error that meant that low level quarterly data within this output were incorrect for the period 1997-2019 for current price (CP) data with annual data unaffected. This does not impact on the total trade aggregate series and has no impact on total GDP. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We have corrected an error in tabs 3-8 of this dataset, affecting only the values for services exports to EU and non-EU in 2024 and 2025. There is no impact on total services export or import values. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Improvements to recording trade in precious metals have been implemented in this publication; however, because of a processing error these have not been fully applied - further details, including indicative impacts on estimates, are provided in our Balance of Payments release.
Estimates of total GDP are not affected. We apologise for this processing error.

We have identified and corrected a processing error in International Trade in Services survey data that fed into previously published versions of this dataset. The error affected estimates of imports and exports of services in total and within services types, in Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) to Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) 2025.
Introduction of the corrected data is accompanied by scheduled revisions to other Trade in Services inputs. In combination, the impact on seasonally adjusted estimates in all quarters of 2025 is less than 1% of total trade in services. Our Output measure is more robust at this stage of our processing, and this error, taken in isolation had no impact on GDP growth to 1 decimal place.
