Can you confirm the government's annual published RPI percentage increases for the years of 2011 to 2019?

After extensive review of on-site data, there are multiple interpretations of how to measure an "annual RPI based increase".

We said

Thank you for you query regarding the use of Retail Prices Index (RPI) annual increases.

In terms of the annual RPI increase, we would presume that, in this instance, it relates to the annual change over 12 months for RPI All items, which can be found on Table 37 of the Consumer price inflation tables: https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/inflationandpriceindices/datasets/consumerpriceinflation.

The annual changes to RPI All items since 2011 are recorded as:

2011 5.2%

2012 3.2%

2013 3.0%

2014 2.4%

2015 1.0%

2016 1.8%

2017 3.6%

2018 3.3%

2019 2.6%

Before using these figures, we would advise that you confirm that they match the annual increases used within any relevant agreement in previous years.
