Table 1 details the number of deaths among farmers classified as suicide or undetermined intent. The data are for deaths registered in Wales between 2001 and 2015. The numbers detailed in this data set cannot be used to ascertain the risk of suicide among farmers. Year-to-year differences in numbers of deaths may merely reflect change in the population of farmers across time as opposed to change in the risk of suicide.
