The Longitudinal Study (LS) contains linked census and life events data for a 1% sample of the population of England and Wales. General characteristics of teachers captured in the LS in 2001 and 2011 can be found in these tables. Other tables include information on teachers in 2001 who had left by 2011 to either become economically inactive or for another occupation.
