You asked

Please provide the economic cost of road traffic collisions in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Machynlleth and Gwynedd. Back in 2015, it was estimated to be in the region of £51.3m. Do you have up to date data on this that I can look at?

Additionally, do you hold data on Transport Poverty (i.e. households that do not have cars or vans) in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Machynlleth and Gwynedd?

Thank you for your request.

Unfortunately, we do not hold information on the economic cost of road traffic collisions in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Machynlleth and Gwynedd. The Department for Transport may be better placed to answer your request, as they hold Accident and casualty costs (RAS60) statistical data sets. We would advise to contact them at roadacc.stats@dft.gov.uk.

Similarly, we do not hold information on households that do not have cars or vans in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Machynlleth and Gwynedd? It is possible that we could estimate this for Wales as a whole, using existing data as a bespoke request. Please get in touch with us at hie@ons.gov.uk if you'd like to discuss this in more detail. Please not that such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs, where appropriate.
