  1. The latest top ten cities which have the highest divorce rates across the UK
  2. The latest divorce rates by regions for England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland

Following a search of our records, I can confirm that we do not hold all the information you have requested.  

We produce divorce statistics for England and Wales; the National Records of Scotland (NRS) produces divorce statistics for Scotland and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) produces these statistics for Northern Ireland.  

Divorces rates for England and Wales as a whole are available in our annual Divorces in England and Wales publication. The latest statistics are for 2018 and can be found in tables 3a and 3b of the 2018 downloadable Excel file.

Divorces rates are not available for geographic areas within England and Wales such as regions, local authorities or cities because the divorce data provided to us by the courts do not contain information on the area of residence of the parties.
