Corrections

17 February 2023

We have corrected an issue affecting some of the estimates originally published in the June to September 2022 edition of this dataset. This is because of a weighting error which resulted in Wales and Scotland being weighted to the wrong populations. This issue occurred because of a processing error and should not impact any future analysis. The estimates and associated population counts for Wales and Scotland breakdowns in table 1.3 and table 2.3 have been updated. This error does not affect the message or findings. Given the small impact on other estimates these have not been updated. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Notices

01 August 2023

We identified a weighting issue on our Opinions and Lifestyle Survey which resulted in some distributions of population totals presented in the June to September 2022 and September 2022 to January 2023 datasets not matching official population estimates published by ONS. This is limited to analysis based on pooling a number of waves of OPN data together.

This issue occurred because of a processing error and should not impact any future analysis.

This issue does not appear to affect rounded estimates or messages provided in the release or datasets. However, weighted population counts that are provided in these datasets should not be used. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
