The Population estimates for UK, England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland mid-2016 dataset (released 22 June 2017) contains data on the number of children (under 16’s) living in southern London boroughs.
To access these data follow the link, download the latest data (mid-2016) and then select one of the MYE2 spreadsheets (i.e. if you want it broken down by sex choose male or female) and you can use search functions to find the corresponding local authority estimates.
