​I'd like some data relating to domestic burglaries over the past year or for 2018 if this information isn't yet available, focusing specifically on the types of homes that are most likely to be broken into: detached, semi-detached, bungalow, cottage, end of terrace, flat or terrace homes.

We publish data from the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and police recorded crime.

CSEW estimates of the proportion of households that were victims of domestic burglary by accommodation type for the year ending March 2018 are available in Property Crime Table 1.

Data for the year ending March 2019 is due to be released on the 23rd January 2020.

As this information is available through this route, we consider that Freedom of Information Act S21(1) applies to this request and the information does not have to be supplied under the Freedom of Information Act. S21(1) is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest needs to be applied.
