Summary of request
Estimates of the number of employed people with disabled status for each year from April 2009 to March 2010 to April 2017 to March 2018. Results are drawn from the Annual Population Survey.
The variable used to define disability changed in April 2013 and users are encouraged to read the article 'Measuring disability in the Labour Force Survey' linked in the Metadata tab.
Users should also read the ‘Important note’ tab which describes an apparent discontinuity within data for the period April 2017 to March 2018.
Please note: The table was amended on 20 September 2018 to include a note regarding an apparent discontinuity in Labour Force Survey data between Quarter 2 2017 and subsequent quarters. The data in the tables is unchanged.
