Respondents were asked: ‘How often do you use a computer at home for doing schoolwork or course work?’ ‘How often do you use the computer at home for connecting to the Internet, including for playing games?’ ‘How often do you use the computer at home for playing games?’ Responses options were: every day, at least once a week, at least once a month, less often than once a month, never.
‘Play games on the computer at least once a week’ is only available from the BHPS. UKHLS asks children how many hours they spend playing computer games on a typical school night.
