The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has identified an issue with the collection of some occupational data in a number of our surveys, including the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OPN) used in Coronavirus and vaccine hesitancy, Great Britain dataset covering the period 28 April to 23 May 2021. While we estimate any impacts will be small overall, we are urging caution in the interpretation of these data. None of our headline statistics, other than those directly sourced from occupational data, are affected. For more information, see The impact of miscoding of occupational data in Office for National Statistics social surveys, UK.
