The data set reports a number of statistics on deaths involving E. coli septicaemia in Wales, deaths registered between 2001 and 2015. The data set contains:

1. Number of deaths involving E. coli split by sex.
2. Age-standardised rates of death by sex and for all persons.
3. Age-specific rates of death by sex and for all persons.
4. Place of death.
