Please provide the number of domestic abuse victims in the UK for 2018.

In particular I would like to know how many how many women from MENA communities were affected.

Appendix table 3 of our ‘Domestic abuse: findings from the Crime Survey in England and Wales: year ending March 2018’ release provides estimates on domestic abuse experienced by adults aged 16 to 59 and 60 to 74. Appendix tables for this release can be accessed here:

Our crime data relate to England and Wales only. Crime statistics for Scotland are published by the Scottish Government, and police recorded crime data for Northern Ireland are published by the PSNI and the Department of Justice (Northern Ireland).

Unfortunately, we cannot determine the number of domestic abuse victims from MENA communities. We may be able to provide the number of domestic abuse victims from MENA countries of birth.
