We have corrected a labelling error in Tables 13a and 13b in 2021 and 2022 editions of this dataset. This affects the column names for columns G, I, K & M in those tables. The columns have been renamed to “Crude rate of years life lost” for the relevant age group from “Crude mortality rate”. For more information on how the crude rate of years life lost is calculated please see our User guide to mortality statistics.
